In Ohio

Today consisted of one thing: driving. 'Nuff said.
At least we got here! We're in Cleveland now, and we're going to Cedar Point at nine.
Also: I know the schedule doesn't quite look like how it was supposed to originally. Erin went to the hospital for some sickness, ended up getting a biopsy, and thankfully doesn't have cancer. Here's a quote from her Facebook: "Here's the short story. Swollen lymph nodes, sore ear, can't chew or swallow. Saw my Dr,Dentist,PA, Orthodontist, ER Dr in Chicago... after looking at a CT scan of the soft tissue in my neck...He said it was more than likely I had Lymphoma! Not good! Saw two ENT's the next day who agreed and said I needed a biopsy! Put me under... breathing tube ..the whole deal. Removed a node from my neck and did some tests. Not cancer...whew!!! Seven doctors and they still are not sure what it is. Best guess so far Histoplasmosis!? Better be good cause I'm going to have a three inch scar on the front of my neck!".
We're blessed!!!

End Of Adventure Day Two

Today was really busy!!!! We finally did our expedition into the heart of Chicago. It was fantastic!!! Comparing downtown slc to this just isn't fair. The city was *enormous*. Seriously, it seemed like thirty times the size of SLC. We went to the pier, saw the loop, walked all the way along it's length, saw a giant park with a metal bean, went to the top of Sears tower, and took the train. I managed to buy some crappy souvenirs, and some fudge! We ate fantastic pier "seafood" for dinner, and didn't see one street hot dog vendor. :(
Overall, an excellent day to be us!!!

In Chicago!

We're in the train station here. Time for some real exploring!!

End of Day One

This place is awesome. Who could've imagined there's a place where you can manage to not have constantly dry skin?! Not I. But alas, here it is! Also, fireflies do exist!!! Unfortunately, they're not constantly on. They do this thing where they blink on and off, but mostly stay off.
And finally, the cicadas here are... prolific, to say the least. The noise drowns out all others. No joke.
In all, a fun place to be! I can't wait for the real adventures to begin!

Safe, For Now

We're at Erin's (my stepmom) sisters house in Chicago. There were moments of worry that we may not make it this far, but lo and behold, here we are!!! Never been so thankful for a McDonalds in my life. Seriously.

Car Rental

It sucks. What else is there to say? Plus: you have to be 25 to drive them. :P

Arrived!!!

We made it to Chicago!! The flight was ok for having three babies with us... ;)
Now that we're here, I WANT SOME FREAKIN SEAFOOD!!!! :D
